- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-08-T-0467 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest edition of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on an Total Small Business Set-A-Side basis (see Numbered Note 1), NAICS Code 541990; Chaplains Office, Naval Support Activity and Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, New Orleans LA 70143, requires a Roman Catholic Priest to perform religious services and chaplain services. For Period of six (6) months from date of award of contract. The Government Point of Contact will be RP1 Gregory Wiemann, 504-678-3525. Services to be performed in accordance with the Navy regulations and the Archdiocese for the Military services. Services include Catholic Mass and confession for active duty personnel and all other authorized personnel. Sacramental and emergency ministrations for active duty personnel and family members, including Baptism, Marriage, Funeral, and Memorial services, and Anointing of the sick. Services to be performed:50 Sunday Masses100 weekday masses60 Sunday confessions8 Holy days Services may also include participation in Command functions as needed. May also be requested to participate in the following services: Memorial ServicesRetirementsFuneral's Must communicate with Directors, Department Heads, supervisors, and other personnel and family members for matters involving the performance of pastoral responsibilities. Must pursue all administrative matters through the Command Chaplain. Must be an Ordained Roman Catholic Priest in good standing and be endorsed by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA. Shall have the requisite skills and experience consistent with Roman Catholic Priests whose background and experience are acceptable to the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA. Must be able to screen for a Confidential Security Clearance at a minimum. Any vendor considered for award of a Government Contract must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to issuance of a contract. Vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database in order to be considered for an award by the government. Go to http://www.ccr.gov to register.
