- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland, intends to award a sole source contract with T3 Motion, Inc., located at 2990 Airway Ave, Suite A, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 for T3 Electric Mobility Vehicle for the 316th Security Forces. This requirement includes (Qty:5) T3-001-001 Electric Mobility Vehicles with complete LED lighting package, (Qty: 2) BA-011-C25 Power Modules, CH-001-A115 Power Module Charger; (Qty: 5) AS-009-001 Pannier Pack (Soft Storage Pack); (Qty: 5) AS-007-004 Safety Helmets; (Qty: 10) BA-011-C25 Power Module (Type B 25 Mile Range); (Qty: 5) AS-009-100 On Board Video System (1 Channel Video, 640 x 240 Resolution, 2G CF Card Included). The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. The 316th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1 for Other than Full and Open Competition and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and award to only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by the agency. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to Anke Taylor, anke.taylor@afncr.af.mil no later than 4:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) on Thursday, 11 September 2008.
