- 09 September 2008 Discovery Resource Center Synopsis This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of the Discovery Resource Center requirement for the 28th Force Support Squadron at Ellsworth AFB, SD. Required services are commercial; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item, shall apply to this acquisition. The contractor shall provide management of the Ellsworth AFB Airman & Family Readiness Center's (A&FRC) Discovery Resource Center (DRC). The contractor shall provide all personnel necessary to provide Discovery Resource Center services, for the 28th Force Support Squadron at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced contract with a period of performance beginning on 01 Oct 08 and ending 30 Sep 09. This will be a one year contract. This acquisition will be set-aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561110. The size standard for this acquisition is $6.5 million. Solicitation No. FA4690-08-T-0009 will be issued as a formal Request for Proposal on or about 09 Sept 08 via Fed Biz Opps. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. The 28th Comptroller and Contracting Squadron will consider all proposals submitted by responsible businesses.
