- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DG133W-08-RQ-1201, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. This solicitation is a small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 423430, and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Contract Line Item Number 0001: One each Graphtec IS210En-11 42" Image Scanner - or equal. To be considered an equal product, the scanner must meet or exceed the following salient characteristics: at least 42" wide scan width with a monochrome output capability; scanning speed should be at least 4.5 inches per second at 200 dots per inch; operates with the latest version of GTX Raster CAD Plus software; and includes a stand, scanning software and cable for USB and Ethernet connectivity. Contract Line Item Number 0002: One each Latest Version of GTX RasterCAD Plus Software (one seat). Delivery shall be made F.O.B. Destination to the attention of Ken Davidson, National Weather Service, SSMC2, 1325 East West Highway, Station 16406, Silver Spring, MD 20910 not later than 30 days after purchase order award. Government acceptance shall take place at destination. FAR Provision 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition, and there are no addenda to this provision. If a quoter is proposing an "equal" product for Contract Line Item Number 0001, the quoter must include descriptive literature with its quotation demonstrating that the "equal" product meets or exceeds the salient characteristics set forth above. FAR Provision 52.212-2 does not apply to this acquisition. Any purchase order awarded as a result of this RFQ will be to the lowest-priced quote for acceptable products from a responsible quoter. The quoter shall include a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3 in its quote. FAR Clause 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition, and there are no addenda to this clause. FAR Clause 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition, and the following additional FAR clauses cited in Paragraph (b) of FAR Clause 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.219-6; FAR 52.219-28; FAR 52.222-3; FAR 52.222-19; FAR 52.222-21; FAR 52.222-26; FAR 52.222-50; FAR 52.225-1; FAR 52.225-13; and FAR 52.232-33. There are no additional contract requirements or terms and conditions. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) does not apply to this acquisition.
