- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Carson, Colorado intends to award an unrestricted sole source purchase order with Meggitt Training Systems, Inc, Suwanee, GA 30024 for: CLIN ITEM Description QTY U/I 0001Muzzle Flash Simulator, LED Commercial, CAT # MFS405Each 0002Moving Infantry Target, 2400Bd AC Cat # DP26-AC6Each 0003Moving Armor Target, 2400Bd AC w/350 Track,Cat # DP631Each 0004Sound Effects Simulator, Connects to SIT Cat # AG97Each 0005Sound Effects Simulator, Stand Alone DC Cat# ZG9-17Each This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1) and (FAR 13.501) with the solicitation number W911RZ-08-T-0358 used for reference only. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333319 and a size standard of 500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 2 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in SUFFICIENT detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due 11 Sep 2008 15:00 EST.
