- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912P6-08-Q-0034 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions on this procurement. Award will be made to responsive and responsible Offeror submitting the lowest aggregate price for all line items listed in the bid schedule. The contractor is required to supply, and deliver galvanized steel pipe railings and fittings to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago Harbor Lock Control House Building,108 North Streeter Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60611. The required delivery date for all products is no later than 30 September 2008. The Contractor will be responsible for unloading the materials without assistance from the Government. The Contractor shall also coordinate delivery of items with Mr. Gregory Vejvoda of the USACE, Operations Technical Support Office at 312-846-5487, at least three (3) days in advance for access to the delivery site. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332312, with a size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is being competed UNRESTRICTED TO BUSINESS SIZE. The Provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer. Contact Anita R.
