- Notice of Intent to Award to Non-competitive Requirement The U.S. Geological Survey, Alaska Science Center, Anchorage, AK, intends to award a fixed-priced purchase order to Telonics, Inc. of Mesa, AZ. The Government will issue a non-competitive purchase order for twenty-one (21) LP-125 walrus puck-shaped transmitters with pressure transducer, modified onboard software, and housings in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1), and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Telonics, Inc is, to the USGS' knowledge, the only interested and qualified contractor to manufacture and provide this requirement. All interested parties having the ability to furnish these items shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contract Specialist no later than the closing date of this announcement. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. This is NOT an RFQ; no written solicitation will be issued.
