- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on a sole-source basis with Hagglunds Drives, Inc. for hydraulic crane motors. Delivery date shall be 22 weeks from date of award. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 10 Sep. 2008. Proposed contract to be procured in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Hagglunds Drives, Inc. per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit bid proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Funds are currently not available for this requirement. If the Contracting Officer does not obtain funding by 30 Sept. 2008, the solicitation will be canceled. Offered pricing must remain valid until 1 October 2008.
