- This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Andersen AFB, Guam has a requirement for textured exterior paint. The solicitation or Request for Quote will be issued on or about 10 September 2008. The NAICS code is 325510, size standard 500 employees. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for HUB-Zone Small Business cocerns. POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERD IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION WEBSITE (http://www.ccr.gov) and have their Representation and Certifications Application filed under the new ORCA database (http://www.bpn.gov). If Representation and Certifications are not in the ORCA website then Representation and Certifications, FAR 52.212-3, must be accomplished and submitted with quote to be eligible for award. FAR 52.212-3 will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Please note that paper solicitations will not be issued, and all documents related to this requirement will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
