MODIFICATION NOTICE: Bids are being solicited under solicitation number W81NXB82342034. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. If your company can provide the product/services listed on the solicitation and comply with all of the solicitation instructions, please respond to this notice. To view the specifications, please go to www.FedBid.com and reference Buy No. 87120_01. GSA Schedule Bids Preferred, But Not Required: Sellers may either provide a GSA Schedule or an Open Market bid. If bidding with a GSA Schedule, the requested items must be on that Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the Seller's name or the Seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers may offer Open Market items only in accordance with the approved Terms and Conditions of their respective GSA Schedule AND upon approval from the soliciting Contracting Officer. Information regarding GSA Schedules can be found at www.GSA.gov. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified sellers may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2008-09-19 16:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Hunter Army Airfield, GA 31409 The USA ACA Ft. Stewart requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, Shallow Water Egress Trainer (SWET) II. Includes one exit and one exit mechanism handle. Collapsible, but not transportable by hand carry means. Part #11-5007. Features that must be saitsfied are: lightweight, marine grade aluminum, free floating, one generic exit with one exit mechanism handle, rotate through any axis, provide an emergency seatbelt release system, collapsible, easily transportable, usable with an adaptable 5-point harness., 1, EA; LI 002, Seatbelt, 5-Point Rotary Buckle. Part #04-5557. Must be compatible with Line #001., 1, EA; LI 003, Shipping and Delivery Charges. Items will be delivered to ALSO 3/160th SOAR(A), Bldg. 8012, Hunter Army Airfield, GA 31409 to arrive 100% complete. This line includes any additional charges to be named and explained specifically by vendor. Vendor must also specify delivery time., 1, EA; For this solicitation, USA ACA Ft. Stewart intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACA Ft. Stewart is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Sellers may not artificially manipulate the price of a transaction on www.FedBid.com by any means. Credit card payment preferred, credit card payments are NET 30 days, no exception. If DFAS payment is preferred, vendor must state that within bid and will be required to submit all documentation via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) (https://wawf.eb.mil); if vendor does not list DFAS payment as a requirement, credit card payment will be assumed. DFARS Clauses 252.211-7003 Alt I, 52.219-6 and 52.222-3/19/21/56 applicable to all purchases. In addition, 52.232-33/36 for all credit card purchases and 52.000-4058 and 52.232-7003 for all DFAS purchases. DFARS Clauses 52.222-3/35/36/37 may apply depending on purchase total. No partial payment for partial shipments will be made under any circumstance. You may provide a bid for an item that is similar to the item requested. If you do, please include the proper brand and item number, and specific notes about the differences between the item requested and the item in your bid. Pictures will also be requested. Bids that do not list this information will be automatically disregarded as non-compliant. Please provide an accurate number of delivery days assuming award is received NLT 3 business days after closing of auction. The delivery schedule you specify will be confirmed if it is within the deadline required, but if your bid lists a delivery schedule that does not meet the deadline it will be automatically disregarded as non-compliant.
