Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has a requirement for Logistics Support Services in various professional disciplines located at various FAA work sites throughout the United States. The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract, consisting of a base year and 4 renewable options periods, if exercised. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 561990. All offers are due by 2:00 PM, Central Standard Time (CST), on October 8, 2008. Offers must be submitted to the address in block 8 on page one (1) of the SIR. Please reference SIR DTFAAC-09-R-00002 on the outside of your mailing package. Offers received after this date will be determined to be late and will not be considered for award and will be filed with the official award file. All interested sources should first attempt to download the SIR from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing to: susan.eads@faa.gov. Please reference subject SIR. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. QUESTIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER AT SUSAN.EADS@FAA.GOV. ***All offerors are cautioned not to contact any of the Program Offices for this requirement. Doing so could put your company at risk from being eliminated from competition. Any and all questions regarding this SIR/Requirement shall be addressed to the Contracting Officer, Susan L. Eads, at susan.eads@faa.gov. Please note that the following is for informational purposes: Attention Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
