Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-08-T-0466 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest edition of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on an Total Small Business Set-A-Side basis (see Numbered Note 1), NAICS Code 337215. The following clauses and provisions apply: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items;52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, and citing: 52.219-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, and 52,232-33; 252.204-7004 Central Contractor Registration; 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, and citing: 252.225-7001 and 252.232-7003; Offers are due by close of business 19 SEP 2008 and may be emailed to Luis Navarro@navy.mil or faxed to 904/270-6498. Provide proper disposal of cabinets and retain counter top. 3. Provide material and labor to: 1. Manufacture 6 each new buffet cabinets. 2. Replace counter top laminate. 4. Reinstall onboard ship. 2. Cupboard Cabinets 1. Provide material and labor to: 1. Remove cupboard cabinets and counter top to contractor's facility. 2. Replace laminate. 3. Clean hardware and ensure proper working order. 2. Reinstall onboard ship. 3. Sideboard 1. Remove sideboard cabinets and counter top to contractor's facility. 2. Provide labor material to replace: 1. Existing laminate. 2. Sliding doors with hinged doors. 3. Reinstall onboard ship. 4. Deck 1. Remove approximately 612 square feet of existing deck covering to bare metal Surface. 2. Prepare and prime deck surface IAW Gen. Spec. Sec 631. 3. Provide material and labor to install new "Stratica" tile IAW manufactures Recommended instructions. 4. Seal all transition edges, such as bulkhead edges and deck drains. Scope: 1. C.O.'s Cabin 1. Office Overhead (Approximately 177 square feet) 1. Remove existing ceiling panels and grid system; retaining light fixtures, boxing, skirting, hangars, ventilation and diffusers. 2. Clean light fixtures and paint edges that are seen. 3. Clean damper diffusers and paint white to match overhead. 4. Sand and paint existing skirting and boxing. 5. Provide and install new grid system Chicago Metallic #830, type "F" grid system, including applicable wall angle, mains, 48"T's and 24" T's. 6. Reinstall lighting in new grid system. 7. Provide and install new polyvinyl chloride aluminum backed ceiling panels. 8. Reinstall ventilation dampers and diffusers. 9. Provide and install access panels as needed. 10. Manufacture and install double door access for FCU. 2. Bedroom Overhead (Approximately 77 square feet) 1. Remove existing ceiling panels and grid system; retaining light fixtures, boxing, skirting, hangars, ventilation and diffusers. 2. Clean light fixtures and paint edges that are seen. 3. Clean damper diffusers and paint white to match overhead. 4. Sand and paint existing skirting and boxing. 5. Provide and install new grid system Chicago Metallic #830, type "F" grid system, including applicable wall angle, mains, 48"T's and 24" T's. 6. Reinstall lighting in new grid system. 7. Provide and install new polyvinyl chloride aluminum backed ceiling panels. 8. Reinstall ventilation dampers and diffusers. 9. Provide and install access panels as needed. 10. Manufacture and install double door access for FCU. Scope: CPO Lounge 1. Provide labor to remove existing furnishings in lounge alcove area. 2. "U" shaped sofa 1. Remove sofa to contractor's facilities. 2. Strip and template fabric. 3. Provide labor and material to: 1. Re-upholster frame and cushions with shipboard approve material. 2. Replace existing foam IAW MIL. SPEC. MIL-PRF-20092, Type ii, Class 5. 4. Reinstall aboard ship. 3. Deck 1. Remove approximately 268 square feet of existing deck covering to bare metal surface. 2. Prepare and prime deck surface IAW Gen Spec. Sec 631. 3. Provide material and labor to install new "Stratica" tile IAW manufactures recommended instructions. 4. Seal all transition edges, such as bulkhead edges and deck drains. 4. Coffee Table 1. Remove 1 each coffee table cabinet to contractor's facility for proper disposal. 2. Provide material and labor to manufacture and install new 36" diameter coffee table. 5. Overhead. Approximately 268 square feet. 1. Remove existing ceiling panels and grid system; retaining light fixtures, boxing, skirting, hangars, ventilation and diffusers. 2. Clean light fixtures and paint edges that are seen. 3. Clean damper diffusers and paint white to match overhead. 4. Sand and paint existing skirting and boxing. 5. Provide and install new grid system Chicago Metallic #830, type "F" grid system, including applicable wall angle, mains, 48" T's and 24" T's. 6. Reinstall lighting in new grid system. 7. Provide and install new polyvinyl chloride aluminum backed ceiling panels. 8. Reinstall ventilation dampers and diffusers. 9. Provide and install soft patch access panel with hardware mounted to retain panels in the open position during soft patch use. 6. Routing Box 1. Manufacture and install 1 each 30 slot routing box with hinged doors. 7. Workstation counter top. 1. Manufacture and install 1 each 20" x 86" counter top with applicable bulkhead mounting system.
