- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Branch, intends to purchase the following item: Assembly, Precision Roller Slide, as described below:I. One assembly equals:a. single axis travelb. travel capability = 24"c. size of saddle = 9.0"wide x 36.0" longd. base length=65.0"e. comes with through holes that are counter bored for 3/8th" thread: holes are 8.0" apart. There are 2 lines of holes across the saddle. Holes start about 1 1/2" to 2" from end.f. height = 4 3/8th "g. no lubrication systemh. accordian way cover on both ends; includes dues cover on saddlei. recirculating roller modules system with wipers (roller guideway)j. metric ball screw with preload nut1. ball screw diameter = 20mm2. lead = 10 mm/revk. track rails are hardened and precision ground1. preloaded for regiditym. base comes with mounting holes II. Linear Roller and Slide Tolerancea. overall height = +/-1-0.005"b. vertical tracking = 0.0003" per footc. Horizontal tracking = 0.0003" per footd. parellelism = saddle to base 0.0005" per foote. perpendicularity = base end 0.001" Anticipated Delivery: 10 October 2008It is anticipated that this requirement will be procured on a firm fixed price basis, in accordance with FAR Part 13.1, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Response date for submission of offers will be established in the written solicitation/quotation when issued. NAICS Code 333512 applies with a size standard of 500 employees. Important Notice: DFAR 252.204-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION (CCR) applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
