- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FA8604-08-Q-7003. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, attachments, and FAR incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25, dated 22 Apr 2008, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DCN 20080423 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This is a Brand Name requirement for EMC SMARTS SOFTWARE in accordance with authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. NAICS code is 334611.
