- Western Area Power Administration intends to acquire Alcatelmicrowave radioequipment on a sole source basis. Western believes this is the only digital equipment that has the capability to match existing infrastructure and hasaproprietary alarm system that is currently in use within Western.Anticipatedaward is September 19, 2008. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement by emailingtheContract Specialist or faxing that information to 605-353-2645. These itemsareon SBA's non-manufacturer waiver list. Therefore, small businesses areencouraged to offer these items.
