- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas intends to issue a solicitation RFQ51502-002-9, for the provision of Substance Dry & Canned and Meat Items for the 1st Quarter of FY 09. This solicitation is set aside for 100% small business concerns. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424410, which contains a size standard of number of employees not to exceed 100 employees. Delivery dates will begin on October 1, through October 31, 2008 Delivers will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 4001 Leopard Dr, Texarkana Texas 75501. The government reserves the right to make a single or multiple award. The award will be make to the responsible quoter(s) who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. Past performance and price will be considered with prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 10, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the Government Point of Entry which is www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through this website. This website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure you have the most up-to date information regarding this acquisition. The anticipated receipt of quotes is on September 24, 2008. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at orca.bpn.gov. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quote, which will be considered for an award. Faith-Based and Community Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
