- This is a special notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Only written quotations will be accepted. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 238210. This RFQ contains 2 line items. The line item description is as follows: CLIN 0001. Installation of new raceway, cabling, equipment, and terminations to provide a network of 13 access points to SIPRnet in building 584, rooms 209, 210, and 218. CLIN 0002. Installation of a wall-mounted communications cabinet and upgrade of electrical system to provide additional power outlets at each of 13 desk units. FOB point is Destination. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and contractors must be registered in ORCA, Online Representations and Certifications. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.219-27, SDVOSB Set-Aside, applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests, applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.246-7000, Material Inspection and Receiving Reports, applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. EVALUATION OF QUOTATIONS/OFFERS: Quotes/offers will be evaluated IAW 13.106-2. Award will be made to the responsible offeror who's quote/offer represents the best value in terms of technical capability of item(s) offered to meet the government need and price. Quotes must be submitted by 12 September 2008, 1100, Eastern Standard Time (EST) electronically to Lt Collin Christopherson, Contract Manager, at Collin.Christopherson@langley.af.mil. A site visit is planned for 11 September 2008. Contact the contract manager for registration information. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration http://www.ccr.gov database prior to any contract award.
