- The General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to solicit Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a Firm Fixed Price type contract for janitorial and related services contract at the Federal Building / US Post Office, 301 Yakima Street, Wenatchee, WA 98801. The contractor shall provide the management, supervision, labor, manpower, subcontracts, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to provide janitorial and related services i.e., grounds maintenance and snow removal services in a responsible, cost effective, environmentally friendly manner. The interior cleanable space is 39,793 SF; policing exterior hard surface is 7,071 SF; sidewalks is 13,635 SF; patio is 7,596 SF, parking lot is 25,850 SF, and improved turf is 7,306 SF. The RFQ, with performance work statement, is to be issued on or about September 10, 2008. Offers will be due on or about September 29, 2008. Award will be made based on price. The period of performance is November 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Successful offeror will be required to be actively registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Offerors not already registered in CCR database are highly encouraged to register via Internet at heep://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201 (a) Prospective contractors shall complete Electronic Annual Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. In accordance with FAR 5.102 interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file.
