Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is W9124708T0258, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Mission and Installation Contracting Center Regional Contracting Center Fort Bragg, NC is seeking quotes for a Firm Fixed Price contract in support of a Strong Bonds Deployment Retreat in Myrtle Beach, SC. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2005-24, effective February 28, 2008. This solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels. Period of Performance is for September 26-28, 2008. This requirement is for thirty five (35) double occupancy rooms for up to 70 participants, for two (2) overnight stays on September 26-27, 2008. Check in time is requested between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on 26 September 2008. Check out will occur no later than 11:00 on 28 September 2008. Breakfast for 70 adults is required on 27 and 28 September 2008. Breakfast will be serviced at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast Buffet shall include the following items: Omelet Station, Waffle Station, Selection of Seasonal Fruits, Muffins, Bagels, Southern Style Grits, Homemade Biscuits, Bacon, Sausage, Hash Browns, Sausage and Gravy, French toast, Corn Beef Hash, Scrambled Eggs, Bagels, Toast, Selection of Milks, Juices, Coffee and Sodas. Or comparable as previously agreed upon. Lunch shall be served for 70 participants on Saturday, 27 September from 11:30a.m.- 1:00 p.m.. Suggested lunch shall consist of the following:-Saturday 27 September starting at 11:30a.m. ending at 1:00 p.m.- Lunch Buffet for 70 participants will include- Chefs Choice will include: Salad selection, choice of 3 entre selection(s), Vegetable selection(s), Dessert selection(s) and beverage. Lunch will be held in Resort restaurant. Box lunch shall be served for 70 participants on Sunday 28 September from 11:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Suggested lunch shall consist of the following: - Smoked ham and turkey with Swiss cheese on a Kaiser roll. Comes with apple, bag of chips and chocolate chip cookie. Boxed lunch will be delivered to meeting room. Dinner Buffet shall be provided for 70 participants on Friday 26 September and Saturday 27 September from 7:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Suggested dinner on Friday 26 September 2008 shall include: Seafood Buffet: Seasonal Garden Greens with Assorted Dressings, Fried Shrimp, Fried Clams, Fried Fish, Mikes Famous Mango ketchup Salmon, Grilled Chicken, French Fries, Hushpuppies, Assorted Breads, Selection of Starches and Vegetables, Dessert Buffet. Coffee, Tea, Juices for Children, and Assorted Soft Drinks. Or comparable as previously agreed upon. Suggested dinner on Saturday 27 September 2008 shall include: Dinner Buffet Chefs Choice, Assorted Breads, Selection of Starches and Vegetables, Dessert Buffet. Coffee, Tea, Juices for Children, and Assorted Soft Drinks. Or comparable as previously agreed upon. All Service fees shall be included in the price. Refreshments shall be available for up to 70 Adults and on Friday 26 September at 3:00 p.m., 26 & 28 September at 10:15 a.m. Refreshments shall consist of Coffee, Decaf Coffee, Hot Tea, Iced Tea, Assorted Soft Drinks and Ice Water. One Conference room is required on Friday 26 September 2008 starting at 2:30 p.m. - 6:30p.m., Saturday 27 September 2008 starting at 8:00 a.m-12:00 p.m and Sunday 28 September starting at 8: 00a.m-12:00 p.m. The meeting space shall be capable of seating seventy (70) participants comfortably in a lecture environment, including writing surfaces with 4, 6-foot tables (dressed) along back wall or in hall.). A class room set up is required for the table and chair arrangement each day. The following equipment is required: Podium (with microphone wired to house sound system and capable of projection to entire ballroom and 100 person capacity) and Cordless Lavalier Microphone and Cordless Handheld Microphone (Total of 3 Microphones) Setup and sound check included. Large projection screen (min 12x 15) LCD video projector. Permission for Army to bring its own and all necessary Computers, with hook ups. All audio visual equipment rentals are required all three days Friday 26 September 2008 2:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m., Saturday 27 September 2008 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., and Sunday 28 September 2008, 8:00a.m.- 12:00 p.m.. All prices will include services fees. (a) The Government will evaluate offers in response to this request and award a purchase order/contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this request, will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors (e.g., delivery, and/or quality). Award will be made based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-2(b). A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offers specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
