- The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), NESDIS Acquisition Division (AD), Simplified Acquisition Team intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302 Other Than Full and Open Competition with BBS Technologies, Inc., dba PointSecure for renewal of annual license agreement and technical support subscription for PAR-T2 PointAudit Ren. Maintenance - Tier 2 for 45 licenses for a twelve month period. BBS Technologies, Inc. dba PointSecure is the only source known to NOAA for this acquisition. NAICS code is 511210 for this acquisition with size standard of $23M. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested companies may submit an affirmative response along with descriptive literature in sufficient detail to make a determination regarding the responders ability to meet this requirement no later than noon on 9/18/08 to Barbara.H.Stubbs@noaa.gov or fax to 301-713-0809. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone requests will be honored. Award will be made under commercial simplified acquisition procedures, FAR Subpart 13.
