- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the FederalAcquisitionRegulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in thisnotice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the requireditems under RFQ N0003908T0004. A subsequent solicitation document will notbe issued. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR),intends to award a sole source firm fixed price (FFP) type purchase order toRockwell Collins, Inc, 400 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA for 12 GPSEmbedded Module (GEM) GPS Receiver Cards. Rockwell Collins, Inc is the onlyknow source of Navigation Sensor System Interface (NAVSSI) Block 4.2.2compatible GEM GPS Receiver Cards within the required 6 month timeframe.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those ineffect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and the followingprovisionsand clauses are incorporated by reference: 52.204-7 Central ContractorRegistration (APR 2008); 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items(JUN 2008); 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-CommercialItems (JUN 2008) Alternate I (APR 2002) (The offeror has completed theannual representations and certification electronically via the ORCA website athttp://orca.bpn.gov.
