- The Department of Veteran Affairs Augusta, GA (VISN 7) requires electrician services to install fiber optic cable, fiber optic components, conduit, conduit components and all other necessary devices for the installation of the Space labs patient monitoring system at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). This installation will allow the patient monitoring system to interface with the Veterans Integrated System Technology Architecture (VISTA). The contractor must be at least an experienced journeyman electrician with a license in fiber optic installation and electrical trades. The Performance Period will be six months from the date of contract award or September 15, 2008 through March 14, 2009. This procurement is SET ASIDE 100% FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238210 with a standard size of $14 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 8, 2008. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
