- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the reference number is FA3047-08-TC676. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and DFARS change notice 20070906. The Offeror must be an authorized dealer and must quote on an all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the best value for the Government and conforming to the solicitation the most advantageous to the Government. Please include CAGE Code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, FOB Point, and Discount Terms. Availability and how long it will take to ship to Lackland AFB, TX. Quotes must be valid through 30 Oct 08. This is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code 423620 and Standard Industrial Code 5064, the size standard is 500 employees apply to this procurement. The Items are as follows: 0001: SONY KDL 32L4000 32 INCH HDTV OR EQUIVELENT, EACH: 60; SANUS VISION MOUNT MF215-B1 MOUNTING KIT (TILT/SWIVEL) OR EQUIVELENT; EACH: 60. The following FAR clauses and provisions apply to this requirement: 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. (End of Clause) To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, Offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions.
