- This is a notice of the intent to conduct a sole source acquisition for a commercial item, to be awarded to the ChemSearch Division of NCH Corporation. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Description is as follows: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, material, labor, plant and accessories necessary to inspect, maintain, test and repair Biological Grease Removal Systems (BIO Amp) at Altus AFB in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. Following is a list of system types and their locations. Bldg 307 (Club Altus), Make: Chemsearch G01040062, BioAmp Feeder. Bldg 317 (Dining Facility), Make: Chemsearch G02020049, BioAmp Feeder Estimated period of performance: 1 Oct 2008 – 30 Sep 2009 (Base Year), 1 Oct 2009 – 30 Sep 2010 (Option Year 1), 1 Oct 2010 – 30 Sep 2011 (Option Year 2), 1 Oct 2011 – 30 Sep 2012 (Option Year 3), 1 Oct 2012 – 30 Sep 2013 (Option Year 4). If any other businesses are able to meet this need they must respond to this notice by 1600 CST on 12 Sept 2008. If no responses are received be the above date, a sole source contract with the ChemSearch Division of NCH Corporation will be pursued.
