- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Commercial Items for Lease of a Fuel Barge which is prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12., using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items and authority of FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice and attachments. This announcement constitutes the only announcement to be issued. Quotations are being requested and a separate announcement for the solicitation will not be issued. A hard copy of the solicitation is included as an attachment. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil). The Request For Quotes (RFQ)/Solicitation Number is N00244-08-T-0738. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing a: Lease of a Fuel Barge, 10,000 gallon capacity, for period of 12 months in accordance with the Statement ! of Work in the attached copy of solicitation. The terms and conditions and clauses are included in the attached hard copy of the solicitation. This solicitation is an unrestricted solicitation. The NAICS Code IS 532411. Contractors must read the attachment for the complete description, the Statement of Work and terms and conditions of this requirement. Submit proposals directly to FISC San Diego, Contracting Dept., Code 230, Attn: P. Brown, 937 N. Harbor Drive, 7th Floor, San Diego, CA 92132 or via e-mail at penny.brown@navy.mil or send a FAX proposal to phone number 619-532-1088. Quotes are due no later than 3:30 p.m., September 11, 2008. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact; name and phone number; email address; business size and payment terms. Facsimile Quotes are limited to five (5) pages total. Each response must clearly demonstrate the capability of the offeror to meet all specifications and requirements of the solicitation. Contractors ! are reminded to check NECO and FEDBIZopps regularly for potential changes and updates to this notice. All contractors must be CCR registered and have reps and certs posted on ORCA for additional information visit the CCR Website at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, provides the lowest price. This Solicitation incorporates the applicable FAR clauses for a Commercial Acquisition in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
