Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W81NTE81998500 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This acquisition is unrestricted under NAICS code 333411, Size Standard 500. FAR provisions and clauses in this solicitation may be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. DFARS clauses may be viewed at http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html. The requirements in this solicitation: Item 0001 AAF International Dust Collector, Funnel Bottom with Barrel Top Adapter, AR Series, Model AR2-10, Quantity 1; Item 0002 Installation, Includes: Demo and dispose of existing dust collection system; provide and install new 20 gage spiral duct to serve 16 grinders; reconnect existing flex duct to new spiral; install and connect electrical for new dust collector. Work to be completed on a weekend. Vendors offering other than the brand name product shall meet or exceed the following Salient Characteristics: Unit must: Be rated at 2200-6700 CFM at 11.5 2.4w.g. total static pressure (TSP); Dust Collector shall be a completely self-contained fabric type unit consisting of a collector housing (two 55 gallon drum); Dust Collector shall have at least a 10 H.P. Fan; Dust Collector shall be UL-508 Control with starters; Dust Collector fan and motor shall be dynamically balanced for smooth vibration free operation; Dust Collector shall have filter cartridges with extra filter Dust Collector shall have an automatic shaker. Delivery date is 30 days on receipt of order. Place of delivery and acceptance is Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-6300. Shipping is FOB destination. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition to include the following addenda: All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR can be accessed via the internet at www.ccr.gov/. Confirmation of CCR registration will be validated prior to award. Vendors shall comply with FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, if submitting other than the Brand Name product. Offers will be evaluated according to 52.212-2. Evaluation factors at 52.212-2 (a) are price and conformance to salient characteristics outlined in this solicitation. Vendors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3 as outlined therein. DFARS Clause 252.211-7003, Item Identification and Valuation. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition to include the following addenda: DFARS clause 252.212-7001 is included with the following clauses selected: 252.225-7036, Buy American Act-Free Trade Agreements-Balance of Payments Program; 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests; 252.247-7023, Transportation of Supplies by Sea, with its Alternate III. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with following clauses selected: 52.222-3, Convict Labor; 52.222-19, Child Labor Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies; 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52-222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.219-28, Post Award Small Business Program Representation; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-50, Combating Trafficking in Persons; 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration.
