- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offer(s) is being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG40-08-Q-50214. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-25. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAIC) code is 333912, size 500 employees. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. The acquisition is: 2 (two) each Air Compressors High Pressure. 2 Stage, 3 Cylinder, water cooled 216 SCFM @ 435 PSI. Includes 3 phase, 60 Hz, 460V, 1770 RPM, electric motor, standard controller/starter. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item (June 2008). The following addenda is added to FAR 52.212-1 (1) Paragraph (b), Offer shall include unit price (as applicable) and proposed delivery for item (after receipt of a contract). Packaging, Packing, Marking: Each item shall be individually packaged to provide physical and mechanical protection during shipment, long-term storage in an environmentally controlled warehouse, and subsequent shipment to the end user. Each individual unit shall be marked with the vendor name, vendor’s part number item name and national stock number. Delivery of all items shall be made within 30 weeks after receipt of order. FOB Destination: U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Attn: Receiving Bldg. 88, Baltimore, MD 21226. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer.
