- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is: Utilities-08-02-Gas issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This is a request for interruptible natural gas services to building 61 and building 208 at Sembach Air Base, Germany, in accordance with the attached technical description. The technical description is submitted for each building in English and German language. Natural gas supply shall commence 01 October 2008. Proposed prices shall be itemized follows: - Net usage costs - Energy costs (consumption price)/kWh - If applicable, annual demand charged/kW Proposals shall (i) reflect the total price per annum based on the estimated annual consumption identified in the attached technical description, and (ii) include applicable price adjustment clause(s). Proposed prices shall be exclusive from taxes and duties, the US Government is exempt in accordance with the Status of Force Agreement (SOFA/NATO Truppenstatut), and shall be submitted in Euro currency only. Prospective Offerors are requested to submit a proposal for-- - One (1) year duration (01 October 2008 through 30 September 2009) - Two (2) year duration (01 October 2008 through 30 September 2010) - Four (4) year duration (01 Odtober 2008 through 30 September 2012).
