Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland, Competency 4.5.9.1, is requiring the acquisition of Solid-State Storage Device Assemblies that are used in Processor-Controller CP-1273/UPX-24(V) and the CP-1273/UPX-24A(V) systems. This is a single-slot VME2 standard circuit card. This is planned to be a sole source requirement to Red Rock Technologies, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. A sole source acquisition is required because of the RRT-SPL2068-1 VME Flash Drive is the only known card to meet all the mandatory required characteristics. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The Government will consider all capability statements received in response to this notice. The Government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the responses received.
