- The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Artesia, New Mexico, intends to award on a sole source basis, a contract for rental services for an indoor Olympic sized swimming pool to accommodate up to 60 students and/or staff from 7:30-11:30 a.m. and from 4:30-6:30 p.m. daily. The requirement is for the pool to be used for training sessions and the use of this facility occurs when scheduling conflicts exist with the onsite pool. The only source available that can meet the Government’s need for this requirement is Artesia Public School’s Natatorium, a non-profit state organization and education institute. Award will be made for one base year beginning October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009, with a one year option.
