- The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the G3/5/7, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (iii) (A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Burdeshaw Associates, Ltd, 4701 Sangamore Road., Bethesda, MD 20816-2508. Burdeshaw Associates, Ltd (BAL) will provide a Senior Strategic Group of experience military leaders, planners, strategists and trainers. This senior group with the requisite background will provide both reoccurring and on-call analysis, assessment concept exploration and support in pursuing strategic issues of significant importance to the Armys long-term capability and well-being. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract with a twelve months period of performance as a result of this action. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no RFP available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted.
