Description
The proposed contract action is for commercial item, which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit this requirement as 100% small business set-aside under the authority of Far 6.203. This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-08-T-0284 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339112; Size: 500. Statement of Work Scope of Service: For the period of performance of October 1st 2008 to September 30th 2009, contractor shall provide scheduled service and maintenance four times per year on listed surgical instruments pertaining to CLIN 001 through CLIN 0025 and six times per year on listed surgical instruments CLIN 0026 through CLIN 0028. Customer grants full access to contractor for instrument refurbishment upon reasonable request and during normal hours of operation. The services provided by the contractor will be performed on site and readily available same day. No modification of, or amendment to the terms of this list or agreement will be valid unless agreed upon in writing and signed by an authorized representative of each party.
