- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget sound intends to solicit on a sole source basis, one iRobot PACKBOT 510 EOD in accordance with FAR 6.302, due to required proprietary and trademark requirements. Sole source to iRobot Corporation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. FOB Destination to Silverdale, WA. Required delivery date no later than 31 Dec 2008. This requirement is to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. This acquisition will be solicited anticipating a Firm Fixed Price supply type contract. Subject to the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. Written requests may be emailed to joseph.lownik@navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by FISCPS.This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
