- The Philadelphia District intends to award a sole source purchase order with ARCADIS U.S., Inc to develop geometric data to run ADCIRC model based upon Government supplied DEM. The anticipated mesh will minimally be 1 to 2 million nodes and faithfully represent the terrain and frictional characteristics of the land and sea in the region based upon Government supplied DEM. The period of performance is September 15, 2008 through January 31, 2009. This notice is NOT a request for quotes. No contract will be made on the basis of this notice. However, all information received within three (3) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
