- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY - The Health Resource and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate a contract for Bureau of Health Professions on a sole source basis with Medical Marketing Services, Inc., 185 Hansen Court, Suite 110, Wood Dale, IL 60191. The purpose of this procurement is to procure the American Medical Association's Physician Master File Data to support shortage areas designation process, Area Resource File, and other programs. The anticipated period of performance is twelve (12) months base period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541611 "Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services." The proposed contract action(s) is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) is on file, which states and supports that the American Medical Association's Physician Master File Data is proprietary data of the American Medical Association (AMA) and Medical Marketing Services, Inc. (MMS), and is the sole supplier authorized by the AMA to market the Physician Master File. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether the conduct a competitive requirement.
