- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-08-RP-0233 for the following item:The contractor shall be required to complete and 8,200 blank, granite columbarium niche covers to Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. This contract shall be F.O.B. Destination. The niche covers shall be delivered within thirty (30) days following receipt of order. Potential offerors shall submit, at contractor expense, one granite niche cover sample, in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample shall be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for arranging shipping and handling of the markers to the cemetery: Evaluation criteria for this award will be considered in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3) Price. This contract will be effective as of date of award. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from www.fbo.gov on or about September 8, 2008. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about September 22, 2008 (2pm). Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. See Numbered Note 29.
