- THIS PROPOSAL IS 100% 8A SET-ASIDE. *********************************************************** 1) DESC: Catch Strike, NSN: 5340-01-527-8516, Part Number =11581563. The item to procure is a Catch Strike. Requirements are QTY: 523 Each, with one 100% Option. FOB is =FOB Destination. For use on END ITEM= 155MM, M777 Howitzer. Catch may be manufactured from 0.37-0.46C AISI Alloy Steel per FED-STD-66 or 4140/4340. Magnetic particle required, size is approximately 1.125 inches X 2.875 inches, drilling of holes required. 2) DESC: Spanner Wrench, NSN: 5120-01-539-5599, Part Number= 11581645. The item to procure is a Spanner Wrench. Requirements are QTY: 51 Each, with one 100% Option. FOB is =FOB Destination. For use on END ITEM= 155MM, M777 Howitzer. The item to procure is a Spanner Wrench. Spanner Wrench assembly consist of handle and arm made from 0.28-0.42C ANSI-SAE Alloy Steel. Overall length is approximately 28.00 inches. Phosphate coating and magnetic particle inspection required. 3)DESC: Shaft Assembly, Part Number: 13006416. The item to procure is a Curved Shaft Assembly. Requirements are QTY: 32 Each, with one 100% Option. FOB is =FOB Destination. For use on END ITEM= 155MM, M777 Howitzer. Shaft, curved, assembly F/M777. Material is Alum Alloys 5083 & 7075. Anodized finish per 7.22 of MIL-STD-171. Assembly consists of shaft, male and female adaptors and 2 pins. Shaft length is approximately 57.68 inches long X 1.93 inches in diameter. Adapters are approximately 5 inches long X 1.54 & 1.93 inches in diameter. Internal & external threading required. Pins are approximately 2 inches in length and 0.32 inches diameter. Drilling, threading, under-cutting and chamfering required. Estimated issue date is 23 September 2008. This Solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet.
