- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91WAW-08-T-0133 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Contracting Center of Excellence, on behalf of the DoD Inspector General (DoD IG) entends to procure Forensic Tower Computers (DCIS Special Edition). to include the following: Intel Pentium D 940 3.2GHz, 4GB DDR2 Memory, 256MB PCI Express Video Card, 7 Ext USB 2.0 Ports, 2 FireWire 400 Ports, GB LAN, 4Bay Mid Tower Case, Tableau T35i Forensic SATA/IDE Bridge Controller, DVD, Two 250 GB SATA HDD, Floppy Drive, MS Windows XP, MS Vista Ultimate, Keyboard, Mouse, 1-yr Warranty. This procurement will be a 100% Small Businesses Set-a-Side. The NAICS Code is 423430, size standard is 100 Employees. Responses shall be in accordance with the RFQ W91WAW-08-T-0133 CLIN 0001. Delivery of Equipment will be by COB 22 Sep 2008 to the designated addresses in the RFQ. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (note: as of 1 January 2005, offerors are required to enter their representations and certifications on line at http://orca.bpn.gov); FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items. Contract evaluation and subsequent award shall be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Proposal that demonstrates the ability to provide all items specified in the Request for Quote (RFQ). The (RFQ) can be obtained from the FedBizOps web page and the CCE Homepage at: http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/rfp/rfp_1.asp, Titled: Forensic Tower Computers (DCIS Special Edition). Responses to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation must be signed, dated, and received via electronic mail by 12 September 2008 no later than 1:00PM Eastern Time at the Contracting Center of Excellence, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, DC 20310-5200. Responses should be marked with the solicitation number and addressed to Gregory E. Young, Contract Specialist. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-800-334-3414 or register on line at http://www.CCR.gov No information, questions concerning this RFQ or request for clarifications will be provided in response to telephone calls.
