Description
The Government intends to award a sole source contract to SaitsLOH North America, for the procurement of 1 ea. Magna Spin-2AS semi-automatic hard coating system with two lacquers. The specifics of the Lens Coater ands its components and accessories are as follows:.Ability to interface with host software for proper coating (tintable or non-tintable)..Ability to offer two coatings in one machine, Semi Automatic hard coating with availability of 2 types of lacquers for ophthalmic lenses.Cure time must be 10 seconds or less..Operators must not come in contact with coating solution, no open coating bottles, bottles must be sealed..Preferred magnetic drive system to eliminate vibration which causes distortion of coating of lens which results in rejects of lens. Opposing magnets eliminate electronics on carousel thereby eliminating the possibility of shorts..Separate loading and unloading stations with minimal need for user interface..Ability to deliver 2 lenses per minute..220V Operation This procurement will utilize procedures under FAR 13.5. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration a! nd annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov.
