- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to procure fence materials for delivery to Anderson Air Force Base, Guam by September 15, 2008. Announcement is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 101818Q453 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). RFQ 101818Q453 may be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at "http://www.fedbizopps.gov" or "http://www.nbc.gov". The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. Acquisition is unrestricted (open to small and large businesses). The NAICS is 332618. Basis for award will be low price. The list of required materials is as follows: 1) 2.375 inch OD galvanized steel post, 8.5 feet long, 1,241 each; 2) 1.660 inch OD galvanized steel top rail, quantity of 12,400 linear feet; 3) 1.660 inch OD galvanized steel center rail, 6 foot lengths, quantity of 1,240 linear feet; 4) 2 inch mesh galvanized steel chain link fabric, 6 foot wide, quantity of 12,400 linear feet; 5) 7-guage galvanized steel tension wire, quantity of 12,400 linear feet; 6) galvanized steel post caps, quantity of 1,241 each; 7) 3/16 inch thick by inch wide stretcher bars, quantity of 124 each; 8) galvanized steel stretcher bar bands, quantity of 620 each; 9) 1/8 inch thick by 1 inch wide flat bars, quantity of 24,800 linear feet; 10) inch mesh, 20-guage galvanized steel hardware cloth, 5 foot wide, quantity of 12,400 linear feet; 11) inch mesh, 20-guage galvanized steel hardware cloth, 3 inches wide, quantity of 12,400 linear feet; 12) 0.105 inch hog rings, quantity of 6,200 each; and 13) 16-guage galvanized steel wire for wire ties, quantity of 6,400 linear feet. Pricing shall be FOB destination to Anderson Air Force Base, Guam. Delivery date is by September 15, 2008. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: At Anderson Air Force Base will be subject to observation and inspection by U.S Fish and Wildlife Service personnel or authorized representative.
