- Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: Added: September 05, 2008 PR: F4A1038184A001 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - Tyndall AFB intends to issue a purchase order under FAR 13.501, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Honeywell Products Inc, on a Sole Source basis to purchase the following line items: CLIN 0001: "Install Vindicator Alarm System in bldg. 1270" CLIN 0002: "Install Vindicator Alarm System in bldg. 1282". This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-24 effective 28 February 2008. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of it unique requirements. No request for quote for this procurement will be transmitted via Federal Business Opportunities. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
