- The Contract Center of Excellence, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) on behalf of the Army Multimedia & Visual Information Directorate intends to make a sole source award to: Maryland Sound International Holding Company, LLC 4900 Wetheredsville Rd Baltimore, MD 21207-6612 to provide all show audio, audio distribution, broadcast mix audio equipment for all three events to include additional labor for the Oak Ridge Boys (load & strike). In addition, unsightly and oversized audio towers will impact the camera, press and audience sight line to the memorial. Also a large footprint of tower will restrict the Presidents security detail to ensure the safety of the President. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within two days of this announcement. This special notice will close on 5 SEP 08 at 4:00 pm EST.
