- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC, PD) intends to solicit Ametek Rotron of 55 Hasbrouck Lane, Woodstock, NY 12498-1807 on a sole source basis for fifty (50) each Part Number 011067000 Fan. These fans are required for installation for the various workstations on ships deploying in FY09. These fans are identical to the equipment that is currently installed in the fleet. This specific component has gone through the pre-established testing method required for certification of its safety for shipboard installation. Purchase of any other manufacturer's component would require duplication of the testing performed on the Ametek Rotron fans at a cost estimated to exceed the cost of the fans being procured. Therefore, it is in the Government's best interest to purchase these Ametek Rotron fans. These items will be delivered to the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. NAICS ! Code: 333412. FSC: 4140.
