- This amendment to FDA-RFQ-1048351-1 is to respond to questions submitted in response to the solicitation and to advise all potentially interested parties that a Notice and Order has been issued by the Small Business Administration regarding the filing of a code appeal of the designated the North American Classification System code. A copy of that Notice and order is attached to this amendment. Questions (Q) and Answers (A) regarding Solicitation FDA-RFQ-1048351-1 Q: The period of time between the announcement and the submission due date is very short. Does this reflect the preference of the agency for a previously existing infrastructure? A: No. This is a full and open competition. Q: Will the submitted technical approaches and staff/management approaches be evaluated by an external review panel or by FDA personnel? A: The technical approaches and staff/management approaches will be evaluated by FDA personnel. Q: There are no budget guideline in the announcement. Can any information be provided regarding budget preparation, available funds, etc.? A: The estimated maximum Firm Fixed Price for this requirement is $100,000. Q: Is this limited to US based companies? A: No Please note that any award resultant from this solicitation will be a firm, fixed price purchase order which will be under the Federal Acquisition Regulations. This is not a grant.
