- The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) intends to procure, Sole Source from Gilman Corporation, eight (8) total, Fast Water Buoys Part # 03004AI 4th Class FWNFR, Buoy, Color Red and #03004AJ 4th Class FWCFR Buoy, two (2) Green and four (4) White. This office is utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 13, and Policies in Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Items and will result in the issuance of one (1) purchase order. This is 100% Set-Aside Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 326199, and the Small Business Size is 500 Employees. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: no further solicitation will be issued for this requirement. The Solicitation Number is HSCG33-08-Q-60445. The solicitation incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 effective (Jun 2008). Any interested sources who feel they can provide these Buoys may submit a quote directly to the Contracting Officer to the following email Deborah.S.Cefaratti@uscg.mil prior to the deadline of 12 September 2008, 2:00PST. The following provisions apply, to include any addenda, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Oder-Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation will be advantageous to the Government, Price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Certification of Buoys for use by the U.S. Coast Guard, Price, and Delivery. Responses must be received by 2:00PM PST, 12 September 2008 and should be emailed to Deborah.S.Cefaratti@uscg.mil.
