- This amendment to synopsis N00178-08-Q-2097 revises the Government's specifications for the requirement and extends the closing date to 10 September 2008. The amendment is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO in unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Vendors should regularly access the specified websites to ensure they have downloaded any and all amendments. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren VA requires Rack Mount Computers with minimum required specifications No substitutions. Line item 0001 a quantity of seven rack mount computers with the following minimum required specification 19 in! ch rack-mountable, form factor that takes up no more than 1U of rack space; Computer has two Intel Xeon quad core processors running at 2.66 GHz or faster; Computer must have an internal RAID (SAS interface) controller; At least one SAS hard drive of size 250 GBytes or larger that is 3.5 inch size. Hard drives must be rated as 7200 RPM or faster. Hard drives must be hot swappable; Computer must support redundant power supplies rated at 650 Watts or greater. The power supplies must be hot swappable; Computer must provide hot swappable, redundant fans; Computer must included a CD-RW/DVD combination drive or DVD+/-RW drive; Computer must have at least 16 GBytes of ECC DDR2 memory running at 667 MHz or faster; Computer must provide at least one PCI-E/X8 or X16; Computer must provide ability to use PCI-X expansion card via riser card or other similar solution; Computer must have at least two gigabit Ethernet ports; Computer must come with Red Hat Linux drivers for all include! d hardware if hardware is not already supported by the Red Hat operating system. BE ADVISED ALL QUOTES SHALL REFLECT THE LINE ITEMS AS SHOWN. IF ADDITIONAL LINE ITEMS ARE NEEDED PLACE THEM AFTER LINE ITEM ONE. The equipment will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date will be 10 September 2008 with an anticipated award date of 15 September 2008. The NAICS Code associated with this procurement is 334111. All items quoted, must be inclusive of shipping and handling fees. Quotes must include a valid DUNS and CAGE Code. All items will be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, Virginia. Delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order unless noted on quote a different anticipated delivery time. All warranty and discount information shall be clearly identified in the quote. This acquisition will occur via a Firm Fixed-Price contract. All items shall be delivered and accepted FOB Destination to the Receiving Officer Bldg 125, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448, betw! een the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays. No deliveries will be accepted on Federal holidays. The GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. IF QUOTING GSA SCHEDULE, ALL QUOTES MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION TO INCLUDE SHEDULE AND PAGE NUMBERS OF ITEMS QUOTED. WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION, THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT CONSIDER YOUR QUOTE.
