- THIS PROPOSAL IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. THIS PROPOSAL WILL BE AWARDED AS A 5-YEAR INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) WITH 5 ORDERING PERIODS. The minimum guaranteed quantity at the time of award is 200 each. Requirements are: The gross quantity over the life of the ordering periods is 3,500 each, UNIVERSAL PULLER KIT. *********************************************************** DESC: PULLER KIT, UNIVERSAL; The Kit contents includes: (1) Threaded Pin, (1) T154 End Connector Puller Machine From A Steel Forging, 4140 or B640, Grade B In Accordance With Mil-S-46172 And (2) Threaded Bolts 5.50 Inches Long. The Overall Size Is 5.50 Inches, 4.75 Inches X 4.00 Inches With CARC Paint Applied. Long Lead Time Item & Comments: Steel Forging, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Heat Treatment. NSN: 5180-01-477-8120, Part Number:57K3254. The item to procure is a UNIVERSAL PULLER KIT. FOB is FOB Destination. For use on the M992 and M109 Howitzer Series. Estimated issue date is 24 October 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. All or a part of this action will be a funded FY09 requirement.
