- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas has a requirement for a water and sewage service contract at the United States Penitentiary Lee, Virginia, to service the various components fo the Institution operations. This sources sought synopsis is for the purpose of conducting market research to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. Please submit capability statements and evidence of state or local authority to provide utilities (i.e., water and sewer). All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate a respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The contractor shall provide water service to accommodate an estimated monthly water flow of 9,800,000 gallons. The contractor will be responsible for providing and coordinating all services to deliver the water and sewer service to the designated point of service. Any resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract and shall have a performance period of 10 years. All information concerning this requirement will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov/. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The web site for registration is www.ccr.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 221310 Water Supply and Irrigation Systems / 221320 Sewage Treatment Facilities and the applicable small business standard is $7.0 million. Please ensure CCR registration includes the appropriate NAICS code. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
