- Pacific Southwest Research station has a requirement for janitoral services at the Forestry Sciences Laboratory facilities located at 2081 E. Sierra Avenue, Fresno, CA 93710. The contractor shall furnish all neccessary labor, tools, equipment, and supplies for janitorial services IAW the attached statement of work. The Forestry Sciences Laboratory facility is approximately 10,223 sq. ft. and is comprised of 17 individual offices, 1 conference room, 1 break room/lunch room, 1 office equipment room, 1 reception area, 2 laboratories, 2 restrooms, 1 file room, 1 storage room, 1 janitor's room, 1 library room, 1 IT room (janitorial services not required in this room), 1 HVAC equipment room and 1 Herbarium room. This solicitation is issued as a "Reqest for Quotes" (RFQ), with the intent of issueing a multi-year contract ( base year plus 4 option years). PSW anticipates a "firm, fixed-price contract, with the inclusion of FAR 52.217-5, Evaluation of Options, and reserves the right to exercise options. Exercise of options will be accompanied by notification of vendor (email is deemed an acceptable form of notification) no later than 30 days prior to the end of the current contract period. Option year quotes will be considered as well as base year quotes in determining contract award. Contractors are reminded that they are solely responsible for the accuracy of option year or projected expenses, and these quotes will be used to determine final contract award. Contractors are requested to to download attached multi-year bid sheet form, and submit to the POC below, no later than bid closing time indicated above. SITE VISIT: A sight visit is scheduled on 10 September, 2008, 11:00 AM, at Forestry Sciences Laboratory, 2081 E. Sierra Avenue, Fresno, CA.
