- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description of item(s) to be acquired: The Operational Contracting Office (75CONS/PKA), Hill AFB Utah, intends to negotiate a contract for the supply and installation of video and audio equipment. The contractor shall be able to provide these products and service in accordance with the attached statement of work and equipment listing. This contract will have a period of performance start date within 30 days after the award of contract and an end date of 60 days after the start date 0001 -Upgrade Video Teleconference equipment with installation, IAW attached performance work statement and equipment list in Bldg 1201 0002- Upgrade Microphones with installation, IAW attached performance work statement and equipment list in Bldg 1224 Evaluation of Proposals: Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The responsible offerors must be registered in the Certifications and Representations database (available at: http://orca.bpn.gov/) system per FAR 52.212-3. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (available at: www.ccr.gov) per FAR. Lack of registration in CCR will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of modifications (if any) or other information pertaining to this synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a request for information in response to this synopsis. Proposal Submission Information: All prospective offerors interested in more information regarding this synopsis shall request such information by email, please include: name, address, telephone number and point of contact, fax number, email address and commercial and Government (CAGE) code. All responses are considered due on 4:00 p.m, Mountain Standard Time on the response date stated within this solicitation. The Following Clauses and Provisions Apply: FAR 52.237-1: Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.* * Site visit will take place on11 Sep 2008 at 2:00pm MST at bldg 1201 and bldg 1224, Hill AFB, UT. Only 2 individuals per organization will be able to attend. Contractor shall submit names of individuals, attending the site visit to the POC no later than 9 Sep 2008 at 12:00pm MST.
